Eunoia Therapy
When things feel a bit much
You keep going. Something underneath won’t settle.
Talking can help. Not a script. Somewhere to say what’s going on, and make sense of it over time.
I’m Becca.
I see people aged 16 and over, in Skipton or online.
We take our time. You don’t need neat sentences.
You choose what we talk about. I won’t push you into anything. Some weeks are hard. Some aren’t. If something isn’t useful, we change it.
Counselling & Psychotherapy
People sometimes ask what the difference is between counselling and psychotherapy.
In reality, there’s a great deal of overlap. Counselling often focuses on helping with current challenges, while psychotherapy can involve exploring deeper patterns, past experiences and the ways they continue to shape life today.
As an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, I don’t separate these into two different services. Instead, I adapt my approach to you. Some people come with a specific issue they’d like support with, while others want the time and space to understand themselves more deeply. Therapy can be practical, reflective, or somewhere in between, depending on what feels most helpful.
The focus isn’t on choosing between counselling or psychotherapy — it’s about finding an approach that meets you where you are.
Things people bring
You don’t need a diagnosis. If one of these feels familiar, that’s enough.
- Feeling like you’ve lost yourself
- Comparing yourself to everyone else
- Feeling overwhelmed by everything
- Trying to hold everything together
- Feeling far from who you used to be
- Looking fine outside, unsettled underneath
- Knowing something needs to change, but not how
